A smoothie worth making

one of my favorite things about saturday mornings is that you can relax and actually make breakfast. this morning, i planned to make this baked oatmeal casserole i found on a blog i follow (urban nester).

however, mark and i woke up this morning and weren't very hungry (eating at gloria's the night before will do that to you), so i decided to go lighter and make a smoothie instead.

i'm no stranger to the smoothie. i worked at the cafe in lifetime fitness for two years, so i've made my fair share of smoothies. for breakfast, the recipe i concocted below is just about perfect.

my tasty breakfast smoothie
(makes two servings)

.one cup of market pantry triple berry fruit blend.
(there is a coupon for $1 off the fruit blend on target.com!)
.one banana.
.one 6-oz. container of fage total 0% plain greek yogurt.
.one handful of spinach.
.one squirt of honey. (this recipe is very scientific...)
.about 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk.
.two packets of stevia.

Blend and enjoy!
